Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of Primary Schools in the Wakefield area to find Teaching and Learning Support Assistants to support their students. Many schools are looking to bring in additional support for students moving into school for the first time to ensure a smooth transition following the effects of the pandemic.

About the role:
As a teaching / support assistant working with Teaching Personnel you will have the opportunity to experience multiple different schools, allowing you to find your best fit. You will be offered a range of different working options, this could include working one on one with targeted students, supporting multiple students as part of a support group, or working alongside a class teacher to support and enrich classroom learning.
This role would be ideal for an individual who:
- Has a DBS check registered on the update service or the willingness to sign up.
- Is qualified as a teaching assistant / childcare worker or has an employment history including working with children in a caring capacity.
- Has high standards, both for themselves and for the students.
- Is eager to gain more experience working within schools.
- Can work effectively with a range of colleagues to provide top quality support to students.
