Robertson Bell is pleased to be working with a large not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex statutory reporting, consolidated accounts, and high-value balance sheets, while contributing to process improvements and control enhancements.
In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of statutory reporting for the central organisation and various subsidiaries.
- Prepare consolidated accounts and contribute to monthly reporting packages for senior leadership.
- Carry out monthly balance sheet reporting, including reserve reporting.
- Collaborate with financial controls and management accounts teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Support the annual audit process and work with Auditors.
- Identify and implement improvements to reserve reporting, internal reporting, and structural simplification.
- Undertake a variety of ad hoc high-level reporting projects throughout the year.
This role is based in South London with a hybrid working arrangement of two days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Accountant, newly qualified, finalist candidates with 3 or less exams remaining may be considered.
- Have strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience.
- Be confident working with complex balance sheets and high-value transactions.
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to learning and making improvements.
- Be a collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across departments.
