Rising Hope Education is working with a nurturing school in Barking to find a dedicated 1:1 TA to support a Year 4 girl with additional needs. She is due to start on 14 July or 3 September.

This is a rewarding, high-impact role for someone with experience supporting SEND, autism and trauma.

The Pupil:

*

A semi formal learner working well below age expectations

*

Diagnosed with ASC and has a background of early trauma

*

Struggles with change and transitions

*

Needs structured, adult-led sessions

*

Working on early phonics and basic numeracy

*

Can copy words but isn't yet reading or writing independently

*

Occasional sensory seeking and needs support to self-regulate

*

Toilet trained, though there may be accidents from time to time

*

Has limited danger awareness and may try to leave the classroom

*

Requires routine, consistency and emotional support throughout the day

What You'll Need:

*

Experience supporting SEND, especially autism and trauma

*

A calm, consistent and patient approach

*

Confidence to manage behaviour with empathy

*

Knowledge of early learning strategies and sensory needs

*

Strong instincts and emotional intelligence

The Details:

*

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:30

*

Pay: £115 to £140 per day, depending on experience

*

Location: Barking

*

Trial taking place week commencing 7 July

*
