Join a leading European retailer as a Branch Manager & Trainer. This unique role combines management responsibilities with a training component, ideal for a professional fluent in French and passionate about developing others. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training in France before returning to train other branch managers across our expanding network in the UK. This position requires a strong negotiator who can effectively manage both internal and external challenges.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee daily operations at the retail branch, ensuring excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions for branch managers, sharing insights and strategies learned during your training in France.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Manage inventory, ensure compliance with company policies, and maintain high standards of store presentation.
- Monitor and report on branch performance, setting goals and benchmarks for success.
- Negotiate with suppliers and partners to secure the best terms and prices, enhancing branch profitability.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating environment for staff, encouraging continuous improvement and professional growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar managerial role within the retail sector.
- Fluent in French, with excellent communication skills to effectively deliver training.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to travel to France for initial training and periodically for ongoing professional development.
- Enthusiastic about mentoring and training, with a capability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies.
- Passionate about retail and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Demonstrated ability as a strong negotiator, capable of effectively managing contracts and agreements.
