A leading boutique law firm with a top-tier reputation in the media and entertainment industry is seeking a talented Intellectual Property lawyer with 1-3 years' post-qualification experience to join its London-based team.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and prestigious client base across music, film, television, digital media, sport, and interactive entertainment. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of IP work, including brand protection, licensing, copyright, and trade mark matters, often within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on mainly non-contentious IP issues, as well as some contentious
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements involving IP rights
- Managing and enforcing trade mark portfolios
- Collaborating with other practice groups on cross-sector projects, particularly in technology and commercial matters
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1-3 years' PQE in intellectual property law
- Solid training from a recognised law firm, with a strong academic background
- Exceptional drafting and communication skills
- A genuine interest in the creative, cultural, and technology sectors
- Experience working with clients in media or entertainment is advantageous
