About Us:A Nurturing, child-centred residential home attached to a specialist SEN school, supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition and associated needs. Our home provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for pupils aged primary through secondary, helping them to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

The Role:As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our children, providing care, emotional support, and encouragement. You'll work closely with education and clinical teams to ensure consistency and a holistic approach to each child's development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children with autism in their daily routines

  • Promoting independence, social skills, and emotional regulation

  • Contributing to care plans and progress reports

  • Engaging children in meaningful activities and community outings

  • Ensuring a safe, supportive living environment

  • Assisting with personal care where necessary

About You:We're looking for empathetic, patient, and resilient individuals who have a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a SEN or residential care setting

  • A good understanding of Autism and the challenges it can bring

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A flexible approach to shift patterns, including sleep-ins

  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
