Deputy Children's Home Manager - 1-Bed EBD Service
Location: Greenford, London
Salary: £18.62 per hour | 40 hours per week
Sleep-In Rate: £70.50 per night

We are working in partnership with our client to recruit a dedicated Deputy Children's Home Manager for a brand-new 1-bed service supporting a young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), based in Greenford, London.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new provision from the very beginning, helping to shape a high-quality, person-centred environment that supports positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home

* Lead and mentor staff to deliver consistent, therapeutic care

* Ensure the home meets Ofsted and safeguarding standards

* Support with care planning, risk assessments and incident management

* Work in partnership with families, social workers and other professionals

* Promote a nurturing, structured environment that meets the emotional and developmental needs of the young person

Requirements:

* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential

* Full UK Driving Licence - essential

* Experience supporting children and young people with EBD

* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and residential childcare regulations

* Flexible to work variable shifts across a 7-day rota, including weekends and sleep-ins

* Confident, resilient, and emotionally intelligent leadership skills
