A well-established asbestos consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a strong workload across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.

The role offers a good balance of work, with approximately 70% domestic and 30% commercial projects, providing variety without being overly pressured. The company operates with clear processes and realistic expectations, offering long-term stability within a supportive team.

• £36,000 - £40,000 salary (DOE)

• 40-hour working week

• 22 days annual leave + bank holidays

• Stable, long-term role

• Delivering Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264

• Working across predominantly domestic properties with some commercial sites

• Producing accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports

• Managing your own workload effectively

• Ensuring all work meets current legislation and HSE guidance

• BOHS P402 (or equivalent qualification)

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance

• Comfortable working independently

• Full UK driving licence
