You'll be supporting a young client with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, Dyskinetic Movement Disorder, Microcephaly, and Cortical Visual Impairment. The role involves personal care, daily living support, and complex care tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in complex care - while basic care experience is essential, we provide full upskilling in specialist areas.
Who We're Looking For:

Female support worker (for personal care reasons)

Complex care experience is essential

Compassionate, reliable, and eager to learn
Specialist skills include:

Suctioning (oral & deep)
-
Dystonia management
-
Gastrostomy care and replacement
-
Mandatory compliance & medication administration
-
Epilepsy & seizure management, including rescue medications
-
Pressure area care
Your Role Will Include:

Providing personal care and daily living support
-
Supporting mobility, wellbeing, and independence

Following care plans and guidance from the care team

Effective communication with family and colleagues
-
Specialist care: suctioning, epilepsy management, dystonia, and gastrostomy care
