Local Operations Manager (Onshore Wind) West Scotland (Argyll & Bute) and surrounding areas.

The Local Operations Manager works within the Operations Department and will be responsible for sites across North Scotland.

Working closely with senior management, customers, and our site-based teams to deliver planned service schedules and maintain high availability across the onshore wind fleet.

Involved in new onshore wind site mobilisation and strategic planning for the area and implementing change management with the growth within Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd.

Effective communications, building relationships and expectations with all stakeholders across the business including Germany are vital.

What you need to succeed

Strong leadership experience with an excellent understanding of wind turbine safety rules (WTSR).

Building effective relationships with all key stakeholders will be a key part of this role along with strong business acumen and excellent communication and team working skills.

Natural decision-maker, able to exercise judgement and take responsibility for the consequences of actions and decisions.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to manage change and constantly challenge the status quo. Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks.
