Salary: £70000 - £75500/annum

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of a multi-standard Business Management System (BMS) across multiple business units within the construction and housebuilding sector.

This senior position will report to the Group HSEQ Director and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with a wide range of ISO standards and industry accreditations, managing internal and external audits, and overseeing the integration of quality, safety, environmental, sustainability, and compliance processes across the organisation.

The role will be based at the head office in Kent, with regular travel to sites and offices across the South East.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and improve the Business Management System (BMS) hosted on SharePoint, ensuring accessibility, compliance, and ease of use.

* Lead and coordinate internal audit programmes for multiple ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, and ISO (phone number removed).

* Oversee company compliance with SSIP schemes and other industry accreditations, such as FORS.

* Ensure Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) are addressed and closed in a timely manner.

* Work closely with certification bodies to maintain and renew company accreditations.

* Develop, update, and issue company policies, procedures, bulletins, and alerts in line with legislative and industry requirements.

* Support the business with building regulations and fire safety compliance.

* Provide quality assurance advice and support to site teams and management.

* Prepare and present monthly Quality Assurance reports to the senior leadership team.

* Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance Auditor.

* Support ESG strategies and departmental objectives for continual improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience in a similar Quality Assurance, Compliance, or HSEQ role within construction, housebuilding, or a related sector.

* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, and ISO (phone number removed).

* Experience in building regulations and fire safety compliance.

* Internal auditor qualifications (ISO standards) - highly desirable.

* Familiarity with SSIP schemes and transport compliance (FORS, DVSA Earned Recognition, Van Excellence) - desirable.

* Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel regularly across the South East.

* Full UK driving licence
