Cover Supervisor - Inspire, Support, Lead

Location: Bury (Including surrounding areas) 
Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible | Term Time Only
Salary: £100 - £135 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school by:

Supervising lessons across the curriculum when teachers are absent

Ensuring students remain on task and engaged with their learning

Managing classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies

Supporting students with questions and promoting a positive learning environment

You'll be delivering pre-prepared lessons - no planning or marking required - but plenty of opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. You don't need to be a qualified teacher - we're looking for:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confidence in managing groups of students

A calm, adaptable and proactive attitude

A passion for education and helping young people succeed

Experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work or mentoring) is desirable, but not essential - full training and ongoing support will be provided.
