Nursery Practitioner - Baby Room

Location: City of London
Salary: £26,800 - £27,800
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (4.5 days)
Shift Pattern: 08:00 - 18:00, with one half day per week (08:00 - 13:00)
Qualification: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (or above)

Platinum Recruitment is proud to be supporting a well-established nursery in the City of London in their search for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their Baby Room team.

This nursery provides a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop through play. The Baby Room is carefully designed to support the early development of children under two years old, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they begin their learning journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional who is passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.

As a Nursery Practitioner in the Baby Room, you will play a key role in supporting the care, development, and wellbeing of the children in your care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting babies' learning and development through engaging and age-appropriate activities
Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Planning and delivering activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress
Working collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth running of the roomWhat We're Looking For

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above)
Experience working with babies or young children in an early years setting
A genuine passion for early years education and child development
Strong communication skills and written English
A warm, positive, and proactive approach
