About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, and other members of the team to deliver a wide range of high-quality nursing services. The role includes the management of long-term conditions, health promotion, routine treatment room duties, and involvement in preventative healthcare initiatives.

The role is offered on a part-time basis (3 days per week) or full-time, with flexibility to suit the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension
Cervical cytology (smear tests)
Childhood and adult immunisations and vaccinations
Wound care and dressings
Health screening and health promotion
Contraceptive advice (desirable but not essential)
Support with QOF and other practice targets
Participation in clinical meetings and quality improvement initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working as a Practice Nurse in primary care (although support and training will be provided for the right candidate)
Current NMC registration
Excellent clinical and communication skills
A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to teamwork
A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-focused care
A desire for continuous professional development
Experience in chronic disease management and treatment room duties (desirable)

What the Practice Offers:

A supportive, welcoming, and forward-thinking team
A modern, well-equipped working environment
Flexibility to work 3 days per week or full-time
Competitive salary based on experience
Opportunities for further training, education, and career development
Regular clinical meetings and a strong emphasis on team wellbeing
An innovative approach to healthcare delivery, including the use of technology to enhance patient care
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a practice that genuinely values its staff, encourages innovation, and is committed to maintaining a friendly, supportive, and professional atmosphere.
