Anderson Knight are recruiting an HR Adviser for our client based in Glasgow. Supporting the client on a permanent basis, the successful applicant will get involved in the full employee life cycle, coordinating and advising on key areas within HR such as Recruitment and Onboarding, People management, Employee engagement, Employee development & Employee Relations. In addition, specialisms in L&D, Training, Payroll or Systems would be desirable. The client offers hybrid working, the hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm as well as other fantastic benefits.

Main Responsibilities

* Manage recruitment initiatives for specific teams in the business

* Coach hiring managers recruitment best practices

* Host inductions for new starts ensuring understanding of company standards

* Advise hiring managers on Onboarding procedures and assisting with probationary reviews

* work closely with the HR Director, managing employee relations issues providing advice to managers and employees

* Evaluate job descriptions

* Conduct exit interviews for leavers of the business

Requirements

* University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or similar field

* Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders

* Ability to work well both independently as well as part of a team

* Take initiative and has a willingness to take on additional responsibilities

* Able to manage confidential matters in a discreet manner
