We're working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed group to recruit an experienced Interim Project Accountant to support Group Finance through a key systems and reporting transformation. This is an outside IR35 contract, initially for 3-6 months, with hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office).
Key responsibilities as the Interim Project Accountant:
* Support the integration of Sage 50/200, including UAT and troubleshooting.
* Manage month-end reporting and group consolidation.
* Provide cover for the Head of FP&A.
* Deliver key monthly reports: P&L, cash flow, net debt, and KPIs.
* Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
* Produce ad hoc analysis for senior finance stakeholders.
What we're looking for from the Interim Project Accountant:
* Strong project or systems accounting experience within multi-entity groups.
* Proficient in finance systems integration, ideally with Sage 50/200.
* Confident communicator, able to work independently.
* Immediately available or on short notice.
