Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Steel Fixer to join a commercial project in Taunton.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the placement of steel reinforcement.

Cut, bend, and fix steel reinforcement bars according to project specifications.

Ensure all steel reinforcement is securely fixed, meeting safety and quality standards.

Work closely with other trades and site managers to ensure efficient project delivery.

Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Assist in maintaining a tidy and organized site at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

Blue CSCS card is essential.

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer is essential.

Strong understanding of reinforcement techniques and steel fixing methods.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Team player with a proactive approach to safety and problem-solving.

Have own tools and PPE
