Warehouse Operative – Stafford (Ad Hoc Work)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for temporary Warehouse Operatives to join a national retail client based in Stafford on an ad hoc basis.This role is ideal for candidates looking to pick up extra shifts during the week. If you are flexible and available, please get in touch.

Hours

• 08:00 starts
• Finish times between 17:00 – 18:00

Pay Rate

• £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

This role is part of a store replenishment project and involves manual handling and heavy lifting, therefore candidates must be physically fit.

• Emptying the store and loading old stock into trailers and vans
• Unloading new stock deliveries
• Moving stock to the correct areas within the store
• Stock counting, sorting, and general tidying

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• A basic level of English (spoken and written)
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting

Training

• Full training will be provided, with ongoing support throughout the assignment
