Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We're working with a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Bury that is seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, graduates, or experienced education support staff who enjoy working with young people and thrive in a fast-paced school setting.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources
* Maintain a focused, safe, and positive classroom environment
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies
* Support students to stay on task and engaged
* Liaise with teaching staff and report on lesson outcomes

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with young people (desirable)
* Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
* Clear communication and confidence leading a classroom
* A calm, flexible, and professional approach
* A genuine interest in education and student development

To be eligible you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service OR be willing to apply for a new one
* Provide two professional child-related references
