Overview:
Branta Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled M&E Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale commercial developments across the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation at the forefront of high-profile construction projects, managing all mechanical and electrical packages from inception to handover.

You will oversee the successful coordination of M&E works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of M&E services on large commercial developments.

*

Manage M&E project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve key milestones and targets.

*

Oversee design reviews, technical submittals, and value engineering exercises to optimise project outcomes.

*

Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.

*

Lead progress meetings with clients, design teams, and contractors, providing clear updates on project performance.

*

Monitor budgets and control costs, working closely with commercial teams to ensure financial targets are met.

*

Manage commissioning and handover processes, ensuring O&M documentation is delivered in line with contract requirements.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing M&E packages on large-scale commercial construction projects.

*

Strong technical knowledge of building services, including mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.

*

Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.

*

Good commercial acumen with experience in budget control and cost management.

*

Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant H&S training preferred.

Desirable:

*

Experience working on complex, multi-phase developments.

*

Knowledge of sustainable building practices and low-carbon technologies.
