An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for a service business based in Swadlincote. It's a market-leading company based on multiple sites around the UK.

Main Duties:

As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:

* Drafting of monthly management accounts

* Preparation of accruals, prepayments, and intercompany journals

* Production of monthly expenditure reports for department heads

* Identifying opportunities for savings and improvements

* Ensure adherence to reporting requirements and deadlines on monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

* Ad hoc duties as required.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is based at the company's premises in Swadlincote.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualification or AAT

* Experience with variance analysis & investigation

* High attention to detail

* Strong analytical skills

* Strong Excel skills

* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to speak to people at all levels
