Trainee Production Planner

Are you looking to develop your skills within production planning and gain experience working with ERP systems?

This role will place you at the heart of manufacturing operations, helping to coordinate raw materials, monitor stock positions, and support the smooth flow of production activity across the site.

This company is a trusted supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions, supporting some of the world’s best-known food, beverage, and nutrition brands across the globe.

They are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their Production Planning team, working closely with planners and production staff to ensure materials are delivered on time while helping to maintain accurate stock levels, support production readiness, and contribute to efficient scheduling.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career with experience using ERP/Stock systems to gain valuable on-the-job experience while being paid.

The Role

• Monitor raw material positions in the ERP system to ensure accurate visibility of stock and movement
• Coordinate material flow and check availability to support production schedules
• Update ERP data on batch progress, usage, and material status
• Identify stock issues or delays and communicate them to relevant teams
• Work cross-functionally to maintain reliable, up-to-date material information and support continuous improvements

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams across the site
• Comfortable using systems and learning new software (ERP experience is an advantage)
• Ideal for candidates seeking a junior entry point into production planning or supply chain
