Randstad Sourceright is recruiting on behalf of our client Siemens in Lincoln for a Tendering and Technical Support Specialist within their Gas Turbine Modernization & Upgrades division. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in bid management and commercial administration who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will be responsible for managing nominated enquiry activities from initial "Go/No-Go" decisions through to project handover, ensuring all proposals are technically accurate and commercially sound.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management: Manage and execute all tender process activities in line with established project management methodologies and ethical guidelines.

Proposal Development: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide financially compliant and technically accurate proposals to meet business targets.

*

Strategic Support: Assist in developing "Go to Market" selling and pricing strategies, as well as maintaining the product line's price book.

*

Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a point of contact for internal departments (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance) and external customers or sub-suppliers.

*

Process Improvement: Provide statistical analysis of the tendering process and support continual improvement of end-to-end departmental workflows.

*

Global Collaboration: Coordinate with multicultural teams, which may include occasional international travel to support regional colleagues and end-users.

Requirements

*

Experience: Proven experience in bid management and a strong background in commercial or contractual administration.

*

Education: Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline.

*

Technical Knowledge: A good understanding of Gas Turbine technology and general project management principles.

*

Compliance: Ability to work in a trustworthy and ethical manner, ensuring all bids meet the latest health, safety, and legal legislation
