Training Developer

Cumbria (Full-Time On-Site)
6 Month Contract

£25.49 per hour (Umbrella) / £18.74 PAYE

We are currently recruiting for multiple Training Developers to support a major programme within a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on the design, development, and delivery of training solutions across operational teams.

Please note: This role is based on-site in Cumbria, 5 days per week. There is no hybrid or remote working available.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyse training needs and design effective learning solutions

* Develop engaging training materials (classroom and digital)

* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and validate content

* Deliver training sessions where required

* Conduct post-training evaluations and continuous improvement activities

* Support audits, reviews, and quality assurance processes

* Coach stakeholders in the delivery and use of training materials

Essential Skills & Experience

* Experience in training design and content development

* Strong understanding of structured learning methodologies (e.g. ADDIE or similar)

* Experience creating engaging learning materials across multiple formats

* Confident using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools

* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and manage workload

Desirable Experience

* Experience in regulated, compliance-driven, or safety-critical environments

* Familiarity with structured training frameworks such as SAT (Systematic Approach to Training)

* Experience delivering training in addition to design

Additional Information

* 6-month contract

* Based on-site in Cumbria (5 days per week)

* No flexibility on rate or remote working

* Candidates will be required to undergo security vetting as part of the onboarding process
