An established architectural practice based in Cardiff is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideally suited to a candidate with several years of experience within the architectural industry who is looking to take on a varied and technically focused role. The successful applicant will have a strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes, along with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. The role will involve supporting and leading projects from inception through to completion, with a particular emphasis on technical delivery and detailed drawing packages. The practice works across a diverse range of sectors including residential, food retail, non food retail, industrial developments and veterinary practices, offering excellent exposure to a wide variety of project types.

• Several years of experience within the architectural industry
• Degree or HND/HND in Architectural Technology
• Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong technical and detailing ability
• Good organisational and communication skills

• Taking projects through all stages from inception to completion
• Producing detailed technical drawing packages
• Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and planning requirements
• Coordinating with consultants and wider project teams
• Contributing to the delivery of projects across residential, food retail, non food retail, industrial and veterinary sectors
