We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join a leading reinstatement team operating across South London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in assessing damage to residential and commercial properties caused by insured perils such as fire, flood, or impact.

As a Surveyor, you will play a key role in producing accurate and detailed schedules of reinstatement works, ensuring that all repairs are scoped in line with company standards for quality, compliance, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive on-site surveys to assess damage and identify any pre-existing conditions or health & safety risks.

Prepare detailed reinstatement schedules using Xactimate, including from desktop assessments and technician reports.

Accurately document site information including measurements, photographs, and any special considerations.

Collaborate with internal teams to clarify survey findings and contribute to effective project planning.

Review and approve variation requests from trades and subcontractors.

Ensure all health & safety documentation (including CPP and RAMs) is completed in accordance with company policies.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in internal systems (Teams, Handyman).

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Surveyor in property damage or insurance-related reinstatement.

Strong technical knowledge of building repair methods and materials.

Proficiency with Xactimate and experience conducting both on-site and desktop surveys.

Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Health & Safety awareness and familiarity with relevant documentation standards.
