• Lead on the submission and preparation of new plannings applications, directly or via external consultants
• Work on reserve matters and largely change of use applications whilst running appeals
• You will instruct, manage and monitor external consultants.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams and advise on planning options and strategic feasibility. 

 Whats needed to apply for the planning manager role:

• Ideally you will be a member of RPTI or hold a relevant town and planning degree
• Strong Planning knowledge is required and well versed in the system as well as local authority policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Established connections and contacts within the local network.
