Skilled Sheet Metal Operative

Monday to Friday - large amount of overtime available if wanted.

Salary - £14ph - (£29,120pa) plus overtime

The Role

We are currently looking for a Skilled Sheet Metal Operative to join our growing client based in Luton. They have been a leader in the sheet metal industry for over 50 years and are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to add to our existing, strong workforce.

Ideally, they are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience within the sheet metal industry, preferably more.

Required Skills:

* To be able to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.

* To understand the use of patterns and cutting lists.

* To be able to operate guillotine, CNC punch press and CNC press brake.

* Sheet Metal Fabrication experience

* Knowledge of Tig/Mig welding would be an advantage but not essential.

* Knowledge of programming software, such as Radan would be an advantage.

* Flexibility (overtime as required)

* Excellent time keeping
