Our client, an award winning, innovative manufacturing company based in County Down are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join their team.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a LEAN, fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for 2 new assembly production lines, ensuring quality, output, efficiency and safety targets are met. You will play a key part in driving LEAN manufacturing principles, continuous improvement and team performance. You will work closely with existing engineers in other departments to ensure smooth delivery production.

Role: Production Engineer

Location: Downpatrick, Co. Down

Duration: Temp - perm

Rate of Pay: £32k - £38k per annum

Hours of work: Monday - Friday (41.25 hpw)

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Assembly production line set up
• Management of workflows through the assembly lines
• SOP creation, implementation and maintenance
• Training and guidance for assembly line fitters
• Quality control of all products in, during and after the assembly line production
• Ensure minimal factory defects
