Busy growing Spine and Pain Management practice has an immediate need for a Nurse Practitioner. NP would see patients with a variety of symptoms in a outpatient setting. Hours would be Monday - Friday with no weekends or call. Group offers excellent compensation. Experienced candidates or new graduates with a passion for Pain Management are welcome to apply.
a. Current License to practice in New York State.
b. Completion of a course of study approved by the State Education Department as qualifying for Nurse Practitioner
c. Two years of relevant experience preferably in Pain Management.
II. Key Responsibilities:
a. Conducts patient assessments during exam visits.
b. Create Plan of Care.
c. Provide services in accordance with scope of licensure and as assigned.
d. Participate in quality improvement and utilization review activities of the organization, MIPS and other quality programs and demonstrates a high degree of commitment to the provision of quality care.
e. Exhibits good written and verbal communication.
f. Knowledge of medications and prescribes per the plan of care.
g. Order Ancillary Services, MRI, Urine and Physical Therapies as examples.
h. Ensure Notes are accurate for services performed, including medications and all other pertinent information
i. Work with Providers, Medical Scribes and Staff efficiently.
j. Knowledge of Insurances and Authorization Requirements for Procedures and Medications ordered
k. Adhere to Infection Control and Practice Protocols
l. Other Duties as assigned.
