Our client is looking for someone who can operate a range of production equipment with a high level of attention to detail.
The successful candidate needs to take responsibility for their area and oversee team members, ensuring standards are ; You must have the ability to set KPI’s and motivate team ; Additionally, being able to handle routine tasks and procedures whilst working alone or as part of a team is essential as well as remaining calm and focused when working under pressure.
Good planning and organising skills are required with good levels of literacy and numeracy skills.
You should have a can-do attitude, be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a physically demanding ; A flexible approach to working hours is required, especially when there are high demands for production output during the Winter / Spring seasons.
Job Summary:Responsible for day to day seed treatment process in the area to produce the best quality seed, according to protocols and ; Coordinating the processing activities with the Team Leader/Line Manager to achieve deadlines for activities according to the treatment schedule.

•Work under guidance of the Team Leader/Line Manager to ensure best use of materials and resources available and ensuring efficiency.

•Responsible for daily processes in the area, ensuring all tasks are completed according to working instructions/procedures and to NAV diary list schedule.

•Supervise staff in the area as well as the running of day to day activities in the process area

•Organise staff training and support team with new processes and procedures

•Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and safety checks are completed as well as suggesting improvements to process and machinery where necessary

•Take responsibility for keeping working areas clean and tidy and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
Make suggestions for safer working ; Ensure staff working in the area have read, understood and signed appropriate risk assessments

•Assist with any other reasonable request in order to fulfil business / production requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
•Experience working in a production environment

•PA1 and PA11 qualifications preferred but full training will be given

•English and Maths GCSE’s or equivalent

•Forklift license preferred but full training will be given

•Knowledge of accreditation standards (ESTA/TASCC)
