Behind every impactful organisation is a team of people quietly making things work.

This Finance & Administration Officer opportunity sits at the heart of a purpose-driven organisation working across Wales to create a fairer housing sector. It's a varied and rewarding role where strong financial administration, attention to detail and great organisational skills help ensure the organisation can focus on delivering real impact.

You'll be joining a small, friendly and collaborative team, many of whom have worked together for a number of years. It's the kind of environment where people genuinely support one another, ideas are welcomed, and everyone plays a part in shaping the organisation's direction.

If you enjoy working with numbers, systems and people and want your work to support something meaningful this could be a brilliant opportunity.

The role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing invoices, expenses and supplier payments
  • Coordinating payroll with an external provider
  • Maintaining financial records and supporting bookkeeping
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations and supporting financial reporting
  • Supporting administration including meetings, records and office systems
  • Providing administrative support for events and projects
  • Supporting governance processes including board meetings and minute-taking

About you

You'll likely have experience in finance administration, bookkeeping or office administration, along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

We're particularly interested in people who:

  • Are confident managing financial administration such as invoicing or payments
  • Have strong organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Are comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Communicate well and build positive working relationships
  • Can work independently in a remote environment

Experience with Sage, CRM systems or minute-taking would be beneficial. Welsh language skills are welcomed but not essential.

What's on offer

  • Remote-first working with optional Cardiff office space
  • Flexible working patterns
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Employer pension contribution
  • The opportunity to work in a collaborative organisation making a real social impact.

If this sounds like the kind of role where your finance and organisational skills could make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you. Contact Stevie at Moxie People for more information or to schedule a confidential chat.
