Selective Solder Team Leader

Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:30, Friday 06:00-14:30
Rate of pay: range between £13.03 and £13.67/h.

Premier Recruitment Group is proud to collaborate with an Engineering company based in Dartford. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Selective Solder Team Leader to join their production team on the temp to perm contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with strong technical knowledge of selective soldering processes and proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or electronics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the selective solder team to achieve production targets and quality standards
• Ensure correct procedures and work instructions are followed at all times
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to maintain high performance and competency levels
• Monitor output, quality, and efficiency across the department
• Work closely with Production Supervisors and other departments to meet customer demand
• Identify and resolve process, quality, or equipment issues
• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Previous experience in selective soldering within an electronics manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role
• Strong understanding of IPC standards and quality requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
