Production Operative - Chesterfield

Shifts: The business operates a wide range of shifts including rotating 06:00 until 14:00/14:00 until 22:00 and 12 hours days. Flexibility is a must as they can change shift at any time depending on business demans.

Our client is seeking Production Operatives to support their manufacturing facility in Chesterfield. The role involves machine minding, quality checking, and ensuring smooth production flow. Candidates must be able to work both shifts on rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery
• Identify and report issues or irregularities
• Carry out basic adjustments when required (training provided)
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all procedures and work effectively within a team

Requirements:

• Manufacturing or machine‑minding experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Physically able to work on your feet throughout the shift
