JOB DESCRIPTION

The Head Teacher at a lovely Primary School in Clitheroe is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join there team from as soon as possible. This school provides every opportunity possible to ensure that each person has every chance of acheiving their full potential.

The role is full time monday-friday supporting in a KS2 class. You will need to demonstrate your experience of supporting the teaching and learning in a KS2 class. There is also a requirement for you to spend a portion of your time supporting on a 1-1 basis for a child with SEND. This will include taking the child out of the class for nurture time/ activities.

The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is:

* Knowledge and Understanding of National Curriculum

* Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification, to Level 2 or equivalent

* A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards

* Strong Behaviour Management
