Facilities Lead

Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Facilities Lead to work at their facility based near Deeside

Performance Objectives

Overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of site facilities of the factory, offices and groundworks.
Lead and deliver critical KPI measures
Manage site contracts for services and facilities ensuring high quality service and competitive budge management
Liaise with and manage contractors including external contract management and audits. Engaging contractors in liaison and in compliance to the procurement processes.
Owner of the facilities site risk assessment and insurance actions
Ensure all statutory compliance is adhered to on site
Ensure responsiveness to breakdowns or emergency issues
Provide a link of information between site services & facilities and the rest of the project team
Manage site facilities budget
Active on site contact - responding to issues as and when required. Also provide the site with out of hours point of contact and on site presence (also during construction phase)
Lead facilities activity on site including standard work - such as ground maintenance and gardening, strategic activity such as long term construction projects and ad hoc emergency work such as facilities repair, in response to events and employee concerns.Desirable

Manufacturing experience
Worked in Safety, Quality or Environment
