They are seeking an experienced Production/Workshop Manager to oversee a diverse range of machining talent on the shop floor.

The company operate by producing precision products for numerous industries throughout the UK and around the world, including proto-typing and product design.

Duties:-

* Oversee a team of up 20 people across various disciplines

* Undertake training and development of staff members

* Manage the engineering and tooling functions

* Oversee product quality

* Keep shop floor presentable and ensure H&S processes being followed

* Monitor maintenance and equipment

* Occasional customer liaison when required

* Promote Continuous Improvement

* Responsible for Quality Performance

* Participate in Sales, Quality, Engineering and Production Meetings

You will ideally be a team player, comfortable working alongside senior management and workforce alike.

You will oversee target setting and the meeting of these, by motivating a varied workforce.

Benefits:-

* IRO £40,000-£50,000p/a negotiable depending on experience
