A fantastic opportunity awaits a seasoned Strategic Sourcing Manager in the field of Supply Chain. Reporting to the company Planning & Supply Chain Director. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing requirements, ensuring compliance, and fostering industry relationships.

Who This Job Would Suit:
Ideal for a degree-qualified professional with a minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience in strategic sourcing and commercial negotiation within a manufacturing environment. The candidate should have a proven track record, extensive knowledge of procurement contracts, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end supply chain sourcing and commercial solutions.
Implement supplier and commodity strategies for improved supply chain performance.
Ensure supplier compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for savings.
Manage sourcing project portfolio aligning with business and supply chain metrics.Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Sourcing, Purchasing or Procurement Manager or equivalent.
Degree qualified and/or CIPS qualified.
Strong commodity management experience
Experience within a regulated Manufacturing or Engineering sector
Strong commercial acumen, with knowledge of contractual T&Cs
Location: Accrington
Salary: £50k - £65k
