Stores/FLT OperativeSutton Coldfield£25,055.68 Per AnnumWeekly Rotating shift- 38 hours per weekMain Responsibilities:
  • Understand company objectives and consistently work to meet or exceed defined KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Ensure the efficient flow of materials to production, issuing materials in full and on time where required.
  • Accurately issue and complete production orders in a timely manner, updating live bookings using SAP.
  • Resolve material shortages promptly upon availability.
  • Process all goods issues for internal and external customers in a timely and organised manner, adhering to 5S principles and SAP procedures.
  • Receive and accurately document all incoming goods and services into the system without delay.
  • Pick and transfer items between warehouse locations to fulfil customer sales orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of material returns.
  • Correctly identify, label, and store materials in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain stock rotation practices to ensure inventory freshness and compliance.
  • Conduct routine inspections to confirm materials handling equipment is safe and operational.
  • Perform regular stock checks in line with company policy.
  • Collect and deliver materials to internal departments as required.
  • Pick, pack, and load goods for despatch.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accompanied by accurate and complete documentation.
  • Maintain and file packing and despatch records appropriately.
  • Regularly undertake housekeeping tasks in accordance with 5S standards.
Professional Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, including shipping, goods inwards, production material handling, and frequent forklift truck operations.
  • Proficient in using computerised stock management systems, with solid knowledge of ERP/SAP platforms.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly methodical with excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to fast-paced operational demands.
  • Practical experience in applying 5S workplace organisation standards.
Hours:WK 1-
  • 08.00am - 17.00pm Monday to Thursday
  • 08.00am- 12 noon Fridays
WK 2-
  • 08.00am - 16.00pm Monday to Thursday
  • 08.00am - 16.30pm Fridays
Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above)
  • Valid FLT Licence: Counterbalance and Reach (Flexi licence desirable)
