We are currently recruiting experienced Cleaning Assistants to work across schools throughout the Wakefield area. These are ongoing, Monday to Friday roles, ideal for candidates looking for stable, part-time work within a friendly and professional environment.

Working hours:

3:00pm – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable cleaners who take pride in their work and are able to start quickly.

You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards within school settings, ensuring classrooms and communal areas are safe, clean, and presentable. Duties will include:

• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and shared areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal
• Following health and safety and cleaning procedures at all times
• Working independently and as part of a wider school cleaning team

• Proven cleaning experience (school or commercial cleaning preferred)
• Ability to start work promptly and commit to weekday afternoons
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)

• Consistent weekday hours – no weekends
• Work within local schools across Wakefield
