Forklift Operator (Temp to Perm - 12 Weeks)
Location: Redmarley, Gloucestershire
Start Date: January 2026
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Transport: Own transport required
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Redmarley on a 12-week temporary-to-permanent basis. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to support warehouse and production operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload vehicles and move stock around the warehouse.
* Support goods-in and goods-out operations.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or issues promptly.
* Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operational flow.
Shift Patterns
* Monday to Friday
* Day Shift: 5:00am - 2:00pm
* Split Shift: 5:00am - 10:00am & 3:00pm - 7:00pm
(Candidates must be flexible to work either shift pattern as required.)
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
* Own transport due to rural location (essential)
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health & safety standards
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
