Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 1PM finish Friday (flexi time available)

Job Description:

As a Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will take a hands-on leadership role in maintaining and enhancing injection moulding operations. You'll be responsible for delivering proactive maintenance, leading root cause analysis on equipment failures, and implementing reliability-centred maintenance strategies. You will work closely with production, tooling, and engineering teams to optimise machine performance and minimise downtime.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this Lead Maintenance Engineer role, you will need:

* Proven experience in a lead maintenance or engineering role within an injection moulding or high-volume manufacturing environment

* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (ideally multi-skilled)

* Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems (e.g., ABB, Sepro)

* Experience managing CMMS systems and maintenance KPIs

* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams and external contractors

* Commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

* Relevant engineering qualification (ONC/HNC/NVQ Level 3 or higher)

* To have experience of working upon robotics, such as FANUC or anything similar
