We are working with a large, well-established main contractor seeking a Fit Out Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. You will play a key role in the fit out phase of a large-scale data centre project in Newport, South Wales.

The Role

As Project Manager - Fit Out, you will lead the internal works and finishing phases of the build, managing a dedicated team and reporting into a Senior Project Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring that all fit out works are delivered to high standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the full fit out scope across multiple areas of the data centre

*

Lead site teams, subcontractors, and specialist trades during internal works

*

Report regularly to the Senior Project Manager on progress, challenges, and programme updates

*

Ensure quality control, compliance, and health & safety are upheld across all areas of the fit out

*

Collaborate closely with commercial, design, and client teams

Requirements

*

Solid experience delivering fit out packages for a main contractor

*

Proven ability to manage fast-paced, technically demanding projects

*

Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills

*

Comfortable working under pressure in a high-specification environment

*

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
