Apex Resources are seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias. Our client is a global organization that designs and manufactures electrical products and materials for high-tech industries. With facilities and research centres worldwide, they focus on developing innovative solutions to meet the demands of tomorrow's technology.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting manufacturing, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities to ensure operational excellence. Your broad mechanical skills combined with electrical expertise will help drive efficiency, safety, and innovation across the organization.

This is a long-term, permanent role offering a competitive base rate plus additional shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support for electrical systems including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

* Assist with mechanical and process engineering tasks as required, supporting multi-skilled maintenance and operations teams.

* Conduct inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs to maintain plant reliability and uptime.

* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.

* Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer or technician with a strong electrical bias.

* Solid understanding of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation.

* Mechanical and process knowledge is a plus.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

* Good communication and teamwork abilities.

* Relevant engineering or technical qualification preferred (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
