Inventory Controller

Empowered Personnel is recruiting an Inventory Controller to join a fast growing e-commerce fulfilment business. This role is based in a warehouse environment so you must be comfortable performing general warehouse duties in addition to Inventory Controller responsibilities.

• Salary: £14-£15 per hour DOE
• Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00, flexible to work Saturdays as required
• Location: Coventry, CV3
• Contract: Permanent

Role Overview
As an Inventory Controller you will handle stock checks, manage system accuracy in the Warehouse Management System, oversee inbound goods and support the team within a busy warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc stock checks as an Inventory Controller
• Maintain and update the Warehouse Management System
• Complete stock audits and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee inbound deliveries and accuracy checks
• Support warehouse organisation and stock placement
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Key Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory management or a similar warehouse/stock control role
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate stock counts
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well-organised and confident communicator
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
• Physically fit and happy to perform general warehouse duties
