Management/Financial AccountantLocation: Bolton – hybrid/flexible workingSalary: 50k + Attractive Benefits PackageAn established and rapidly growing PE-backed company with operations across multiple European countries is seeking an ambitious Management/Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Bolton.With strong profitability, consistent cash generation, and further UK acquisitions on the horizon, this is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant ready to step into a high-impact role within a fast-moving and professional environment.You’ll report to the UK Finance Director / Group CFO and work closely with a dynamic, collaborative team of professionals.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review timely monthly management accounts.
• Conduct performance variance and customer account analysis.
• Implement and maintain financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Deliver and develop key KPIs to support decision-making.
• Manage VAT, PAYE/NI returns and associated statutory payments.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital oversight.
• Process monthly payroll and manage annual payroll returns.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist in year-end audit preparation and execution.
• Collaborate across departments to provide financial insight.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and analysis.

Ideal Candidate:

• CIMA/ACCA qualified with 1+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Highly proficient in Excel and experienced with various accounting/CRM systems.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and financially astute.
