Key Responsibilities

As Senior Accountant, you will manage your own diverse portfolio of clients and be responsible for:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of SMEs and owner-managed businesses
• Completing personal tax returns and corporation tax returns
• Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT work
• Providing ongoing support and advice to clients, ensuring excellent service delivery
• Reviewing work produced by junior team members (where applicable)
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor

About You

We are looking for an accountant with strong technical knowledge and confidence managing their own client portfolio. The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA qualification (fully qualified preferred)
• Part-qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates will also be considered
• Significant experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
