Plant Fitter 

Location: Heathrow Salary: Competitive Shifts: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) Benefits include Pension, Death in service, Employee Wellbeing, and others.

We are currently recruiting for a Plant Fitter to join a well-established operation based near Heathrow. This is a key role within a busy site, where you will be responsible for ensuring all plant equipment is maintained to a high standard and operates efficiently.

You will play an important part in both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support, as well as carrying out mechanical repairs, fabrication, and welding.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across plant equipment
• Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime on site
• Completing mechanical repairs
• Reporting plant defects accurately and promptly
• Ensuring all equipment complies with quality and operational standards
• Following health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
• Supporting additional maintenance tasks and projects as required

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter (or time-served equivalent)
• Strong experience working on plant or heavy industrial machinery
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Good fault-finding ability 
• Strong understanding of health & safety in an industrial environment
• Min NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
