Job Description

The Trinity River Authority is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform the duties in the operation of a water or wastewater treatment plant or a raw water pumping plant at its Central Regional Wastewater System facility in Dallas, Texas, Ten Mile Creek Regional Wastewater System in Ferris, Texas, and Denton Creek Regional Wastewater System in Roanoke, Texas. Duties involve routine inspection of plant processes and equipment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED. For the Operator I position, a TCEQ Class D water or wastewater certificate of competency is required within one year and a Class C certificate is required after three years. For the Operator II position, candidates must have a Class C wastewater license and two years of experience. For Operator III, candidate must have Class B wastewater license with three years of experience, for the Operator Sr. candidate must have Class B wastewater license and four years of experience.
