Early Years Practitioner - Level 3

Do you hold a Level 3 CACHE/NVQ/NNEB certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent? Are you able to work well independently and as part of a team to support primary pupils?

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a strong Early Years Practitioner (EYFS TA) in an Ofsted “Outstanding” primary school located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

The school is well-established and currently provides excellent education across the EYFS. Pupils may require a range of support from academic to special needs. The post requires a talented Early Years Practitioner who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential while remaining engaged in their learning.

Applicants must possess an NVQ/CACHE/NNEB Level 3 qualification or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 months experience working with children within a school setting as an Early Years Practitioner. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.

The role will include:

  • Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
  • 1:1 work with students who require additional support
  • Leading group work as an Early Years Practitioner
  • Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
